Hello,
My name is Joel and I live in Columbus OH in the USA. Columbus is the sister city of Kfar Sava and during our 20 years of our sisters being twinned, we feel an amazing strong connection not only for the city itself but for the people there. Tonight we commemorated Yom Hazikaron in our community. We heard stories of fallen soldiers and felt pride in knowing that Israel is there today because people like Ziv made the ultimate sacrifice. Ziv was born just a few weeks before I was in 1977.
Even though we do not know each other, I wanted to tell you that I and my community share in your loss.
May Ziv’s memory be forever a blessing and may his legacy live on through all of us.
